AIRO (Artificial Intelligence for dynamic Risk assessment and Outcome optimization) is a clinician-led research and translation initiative focused on developing dynamic, explainable risk intelligence to support decision-making in patient care.

AIRO is designed to help clinical teams better understand how patient risk evolves over time, using routinely collected clinical data to provide contextual, time-aware risk insight at meaningful points in care.

Our current work is focused on high-acuity perioperative and surgical populations, where early recognition of changing risk and consistent escalation decisions are particularly important.
